KODERUS Academy Learning Terms

By registering, you confirm that you have read these KODERUS Academy Learning Terms and undertake to comply with them.

1. General provisions

1.1. These KODERUS Academy Terms of Use (hereinafter – the Terms) establish the terms and conditions for the use of the KODERUS Academy online platform, the training courses available on it and related services.
1.2. The Platform is administered by Koderus, UAB, legal entity code 304589855, registered office address Draugystės g. 17-1, LT-51229 Kaunas (hereinafter – KODERUS).
1.3. The training courses currently available on the Platform are free of charge, unless otherwise stated in the description of a particular training course.
1.4. By registering on the Platform or starting to use a training course, the User confirms that they have read these Terms and undertake to comply with them.

2.1. User – a natural person who registers on the Platform or uses the content available on it.
2.2. Training Course – educational content provided on the Platform, including videos, text, illustrations, photographs, instructions, tests and other materials.
2.3. Certificate – an electronic document issued by KODERUS Academy confirming that the User has fulfilled the completion requirements established for a particular Training Course.
2.4. Platform – the KODERUS Academy website and the learning environment operating on it, intended for Users to register, access Training Courses, view Training Course content, take tests, receive Certificates and use other KODERUS Academy functions.

3.1. KODERUS grants the User a free-of-charge, personal and non-transferable right to use the selected Training Course for learning purposes.
3.2. KODERUS has the right to change, update, supplement, temporarily suspend or discontinue the provision of any Training Course or any part of the Platform.
3.3. KODERUS endeavours to ensure the operation of the Platform, but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or technically fault-free operation.
3.4. KODERUS may offer paid training courses or other paid services in the future.

4.1. If registration is required to use a Training Course, the User must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
4.2. The account is personal. The User may not provide login credentials to other persons, grant other persons access to their account or allow another person to complete a Training Course on their behalf.
4.3. The User is responsible for the security of their login credentials and must immediately inform KODERUS of any suspected unauthorised use of the account.

5.1. The Training Course videos, texts, photographs, drawings, diagrams, graphics, animations, test questions and answers, instructions, methodological materials, trademarks and other content available on the Platform belong to KODERUS or its lawful rights holders.
5.2. No other rights to the Training Course content are granted to the User. The User is granted only the right to view and use it for personal professional learning purposes in accordance with these Terms.
5.3. Without the prior written consent of KODERUS, it is prohibited to copy, distribute, publicly disclose, sell, transfer to third parties, upload to other platforms, systematically reproduce or use the Training Course content to create other training courses or other competing content.
5.4. It is prohibited to circumvent or attempt to circumvent the Platform's technical protection measures, or to download or record Training Course content.

6.1. KODERUS may establish that a Certificate is issued only after the User has viewed the specified part of a Training Course and/or successfully completed the tests.
6.2. Tests must be completed by the User personally. It is prohibited to impersonate another person, have another person complete a test or unfairly circumvent assessment measures.
6.3. The Certificate confirms only the completion of the relevant Training Course and, where applicable, successful completion of the specified test.
6.4. The Certificate is not a professional qualification, a licence to perform construction work, a right to perform construction work, an accreditation by a state or other institution, or a permit to carry out activities.
6.5. KODERUS has the right to revoke or declare a Certificate invalid if it was obtained through fraud, in violation of these Terms or by other dishonest means.

7.1. KODERUS Academy Training Courses are intended for educational and informational purposes. The Training Course content does not replace project documentation for a specific object, technical specifications, KODERUS technical documentation, the instructions of the responsible designer or site manager, or the requirements of applicable legislation.
7.2. Completion of a Training Course does not by itself grant the right to perform construction or installation work where applicable legislation requires a qualification, certificate, permit, supervision or other requirement for such work.
7.3. The actual façade installation technology may depend on the specific object, substrate, construction, weather conditions, design solutions and other circumstances. The User must assess the conditions of the specific object and follow the current KODERUS technical documentation.
7.4. The User is solely responsible for the safe organisation of work, the use of appropriate work equipment and personal protective equipment, and compliance with all applicable occupational safety and health requirements.

8.1. The User is prohibited from using the Platform for unlawful purposes, infringing the rights of other persons, interfering with the operation of the Platform, or attempting to obtain unauthorised access to other accounts or Platform systems.
8.2. In the event of a material breach of the Terms, KODERUS has the right to restrict or terminate the User's access to the Platform and/or Training Courses.

9.1. The Training Course content is provided based on the information available to KODERUS at the time of its publication. KODERUS may update it, but does not guarantee that every part of the Training Course material will in all cases correspond to the conditions of a specific project.
9.2. KODERUS Academy is not individual design, engineering, legal, fire safety or occupational safety advice.
9.3. KODERUS is not liable for the User's actions taken on the basis of the Training Course content where such content is applied without taking into account the project of the specific object, technical documentation, legislation, safety requirements or any other applicable requirements.

10.1. The User's personal data are processed in accordance with the KODERUS Privacy Policy.
10.2. Information about the use of cookies is provided in the KODERUS Privacy Policy.
10.3. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of the KODERUS Academy information environment, but its provisions apply according to the purpose established therein.

11.1. The User may submit questions, notices and complaints regarding the Platform or Training Courses to KODERUS by email.
11.2. KODERUS reviews received notices and responds within a reasonable period, taking into account the nature of the matter.

12.1. KODERUS has the right to amend these Terms. The updated version of the Terms is published on the Platform and, where applicable, its effective date is indicated.
12.2. The use of the Platform and the relations between the parties shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
12.3. If any provision of the Terms is declared invalid or inapplicable, this shall not in itself render the other provisions of the Terms invalid.
